Vision
Working collaboratively as a team of family, community and school, we seek opportunities, address challenges, and ethically serve and support transition for students facing multiple barriers to full inclusion in the life of the community and work.
Mission
Our Mission is to work toward increasing the independence of each student and provide them with the skills to function with dignity and worth by the completion of their school experience.
The role of a teacher in the Pathways Program is to design instruction to support learning, plan for appropriate community based instruction, and provide vocational experiences. With the assistance of paraprofessionals, the team addresses student’s individualized educational goals and provides opportunities to practice these goals in the community setting. We also coordinate with other specialists and service providers such as speech/language pathologists and community resources
