New Berlin Scholarship Fund
New Berlin Scholarship Fund provides
financial support for post-secondary education
The New Berlin Scholarship Fund has provided scholarships for New Berlin residents to assist them in their post-secondary education since 1964, when scholarships were granted to nine members of the first graduating class of New Berlin West High School.
The Fund was founded by New Berlin citizens who were interested in the education of the city’s young people beyond high school.

Scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of academic ability and need. They are granted for students who plan to attend college, pursue training in a trade, to attend a commercial or vocational school or a technical college.

A committee administers the Fund: receiving, establishing, maintaining, investing and disbursing scholarship monies. These 14 members are residents of New Berlin, administrators of New Berlin Public Schools and/or representatives of various service organizations in New Berlin.

Applications are available at the beginning of January annually. They can be obtained from either New Berlin high school, as well as Nathan Hale, Wisconsin Lutheran, and Catholic Memorial high schools. Paperwork must be returned by the first Monday in March.

Students may apply annually while they are enrolled in one of the listed post-secondary options.
