Welcome to Mr. De Koch's website!
This is my fourth year at New Berlin West. During the 2012/13 school year I am teaching Biology (hour 3/4), Environmental Science (hours 2,5,6), and Health Careers (hour 8). It is my instructional goal for students to gain an understanding of various science related content, gain an appreciation for the natural world, and apply concepts & processes learned in my classroom. My mission is for students to gain a deeper understanding by relating future, past, and present experiences with classroom content.
I will also be coaching a variety of middle school sports this year, which include girls basketball, boys basketball, and track.
In 2009, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Secondary Education along with teaching certifications in Biology, Life & Environmental Science, and Chemistry. I went to high school in Kimberly, WI. Also, I am a big fan of the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and Bucks.
The best way to contact me is via email.
