Welcome to Mrs. Lane's page
I originally hail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I hold a Bachelors of Science degree of Education from Lake State University and minors in both mathematics and integrated science. Be rest assured, though I am a Michigander, I have always been a devoted Packer fan.
I am excited for another active year at New Berlin West. This year I will be teaching all middle school science, but I have also taught math and English here at West in previous years.
I also work with the Middle School Student Council program, Interventions, and am a co-coordinator of the Student Technology Academy summer program. In 2011, I was given a scholarship by Honeywell to attend NASA's Space Academy for Educators (see pics below)! I'm hoping to be going back to Advanced Academy very soon!
