School District of New Berlin Student & Family Assistance Program

Linking families, schools, community resources and medical personnel
to support students and families in need

The School District of New Berlin’s Student & Family Assistance Program (SFAP) offers support and resources for students and families in crisis. SFAP can help those who are struggling with:

  • Anger Management
  • Bullying and/or Assault (verbal, emotional, physical, sexual)
  • Discipline Issues
  • Divorce
  • Drugs & Alcohol
  • Eating Disorders
  • Grief
  • Relationship Challenges
  • Stress, Anxiety & Depression
  • Unplanned pregnancy

Families who have children enrolled in the School District of New Berlin are eligible for the program. Students and/or parents can refer themselves for an appointment. Referrals can also be made by administrators, teachers, social workers, therapists and/or counselors.
