ACT Prep & Tutoring Classes

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:

Additional ACT Prep session:

  • Eisenhower will run a third ACT Prep session on May 1, 8 & 15.
  • This course is free to SDNB students.
  • The information in this session will be the same as the previous two this year.
  • It is being offered especially for students who will be taking the June 12, 2010 National ACT Test,
  • or the ones next fall: September 11, 2010, October 23, 2010, and December 11, 2010.

 *Sophomores please note:

  • It is recommended that you take the ACT Prep classes only once as the information and practice exercises do not change.
  • You need to decide if you want to take it this spring as a sophomore or next spring as a junior.

 *Juniors & Seniors please note:

  • The June 12, 2010 date of the National ACT Test is EHS graduation day.

 Personal Tutoring:

  • Small group tutoring in each subject area--English, Reading, Math & Science--will also be offered on May 1 & 8. If you are in need of increasing your score by a couple points, you may sign up for one or more of these tutoring sessions.
  • By signing up for the ACT Prep session, you are committing yourself to attending all three dates within that session. You will be expected to arrive on time, to be attentive, and to stay until the entire classis dismissed at the end of the day.
  • Students who are disruptive, inattentive, or prevent other students from learning will be asked to leave.
  • If you have some sort of commitment (i.e. church retreat, a music contest etc.) that would interfere with your attendance during some of the time your classes are meeting, you MUST obtain prior permission from Mrs. Sager.
  • Students/Parents are responsible for students’ own transportation to and from the course.
  • Students are expected to come prepared and ready to work Students are. Students will be allowed a one half hour lunch from 12:00 – 12:30 on the first two Saturdays. It is recommended that with little time allotted for lunch, students bring a bag lunch. Afternoon sessions will begin promptly at 12:30.
