The Fine Arts are the most revealing of human activities and provide one of the richest sources for understanding human societies and the motives of those who created them. Through a quality fine arts education, students develop skills; learn to express and evaluate ideas; create, read, and interpret visual images; recognize, understand, and appreciate the visual achievements and expectations of civilized societies.
A fine arts education exists to enable students to reach general, group and individual goals. The integration of the components of a quality fine arts education is based on the belief that these components should be presented in a sequential order so as to effectively provide a complete understanding of the arts and their value to each individual.
