| Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam (WKCE) |
New Berlin Eisenhower gives the WKCE exam (Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Exam) each year to students at the 7th, 8th and 10th grade levels. Students fall into one of four general performance categories on the state exam: minimal, basic, proficient or advanced. A student who performs at the minimal level demonstrates limited academic knowledge and skills. A basic level indicates some knowledge and skills. Proficient means the student is competent, and an advanced rating demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the standard material being tested.

Advanced Placement courses can change your life. Through college-level AP courses, you enter a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school; through AP Exams, you have the opportunity to earn credit or advanced standing at most of the nation's colleges and universities. New Berlin Eisenhower offers fourteen Advanced Placement courses to students. This link provides additional information about Advanced Placement courses and the expectations for students.

This site will provide additional information regarding the National Blue Ribbon School honor that New Berlin Eisenhower recieved during the 2006-2007 school year. This honor was presented to only 41 high schools in the nation during this school year. The staff, students and community are proud of the accomplishments of the many individuals who are responsible for the level of acheivement that makes this award possible.

This is an important process for each student. The school staff at Eisenhower holds conferences during the junior year of high school to assist and support students in their search of the appropriate post-secondary options.
