WKCE Test - Fall 2013
Elmwood’s State Test Results On the Rise
Over the spring parents in grades 3-8 and 10 received their child’s individual state assessment (WKCE) results. We have analyzed our results as a school and are excited to report that Elmwood’s WKCE proficient and advanced scores in both reading and math increased in 2013-14.
- In math, 81.9 percent of Elmwood students scored proficient or advanced, up from 71.4 in 2012-13.
- In reading, 63.8 percent of Elmwood students scored proficient or advanced, up from 56.2 in 2012-13.
Our hard-working students, supportive families and high-quality teachers have led to this success. New curriculum resources, staff professional development, and programs to support interventions and enrichment activities also play a role in this improvement. Thanks to the entire school community for building success for our students!
