From the Art Room:
Elmwood families! The Elmwood Art Department is going to be involved in an exciting community art show!
Ms. Christianson and the Artome Art Show Company will be hosting a 1st-6th grade community art show at the New Berlin Public Library on May 10, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This art show is also a fundraiser for Elmwood as you will have the chance to buy the students’ framed art pieces! There will be more information about pre-sale artwork, buying artwork the day of the show, and post-sale artwork coming at a later date. Everyone is welcome! The Artome Art Show Company will be framing one piece of artwork for each student in grades 1st-6th. The artwork needs to be sent back to the company by Monday, April 25.
This means that students must be done with their projects by the end of the day Monday, April 25. All students are encouraged to come to the art room during their cub time or recess time to complete these projects on time. Please ask your student if they are done with their art show piece and encourage them to come in to finish them. I will be sending e-mails next week if your student is not done with their piece.
Please contact me at Kelly.firstname.lastname@example.org
with any questions, concerns, or if you would like your child to bring their artwork home to complete it for the art show. All of the Elmwood artists are very excited to showcase their work and to be able to raise money for their school.
See you all May 10th!
