WKCE Test - Fall 2013
Orchard Lane’s State Test Results on the Rise
Over the spring parents in grades 3-8 and 10 received their child’s individual state assessment (WKCE) results. We have analyzed our results as a school and are excited to report that Orchard Lane’s WKCE proficient and advanced scores in both reading and math increased in 2013-14.
- In math, 80.1 percent of Orchard Lane students scored proficient or advanced, up from 77.7 in 2012-13.
- In reading, 54.7 percent of Orchard Lane students scored proficient or advanced, up from 52.9 in 2012-13.
Our hard-working students, supportive families and high-quality teachers have led to this success. New curriculum resources, staff professional development, and programs to support interventions and enrichment activities also play a role in this improvement. Thanks to the entire school community for building success for our students!
