Mission

The Poplar Creek Community will ensure that all children achieve at their maximum potential to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. We will accomplish this by designing dynamic learning environments that are continuously reviewed and improved.

Objectives

100% of students will meet or exceed proficiency levels of state and district standards in all areas.  Each student will be responsible for:

  • demonstrating and sharing their continuous learning
  • practicing behaviors that promote emotional, physical and social well-being

We will design experiences for learners, including students, parents and staff that support literacy, critical thinking, exploration, curiosity, inquiry and problem solving.

Tactics

We will use a variety of tools for assessment, reflective review and reporting results for the improvement of student learning.  We will share a common vision for learning at Poplar Creek.
