What is Speed Stacking?

Speed Stacks are specially designed sport stacking cups that students stack in a multitude of ways as fast as they possibly can.  Sport Stacking promotes hand-eye coordination, ambidexterity, focus, reaction time, and not to mention it exercises both side of the brain at the same time.  All students start on a level playing field and being athletic does not help out in this activity.  The key to this sport is simply practice, practice, and more practice!

In Speed Stacking Club your student will learn how to stack Speed Stacks starting at a beginner's level and progressing all the way up to competition level.  The students will be allowed to move at their own pace and participate at their own level.  And most of all . . . they will have FUN doing it!

Due to the number of participants that signed up for Speed Stacking Club there will be 2 different groups that are determined by grade level so that the content being taught and practice can be better suited for their developmental abilities.  The groups/calendar is as follows:

Group A - first, second and 3rd grade students

  • Wednesday, January 27th
  • Wednesday, February 3rd
  • Wednesday, February 17th
  • Wednesday, February 24th
  • Wednesday, March 2nd
  • Wednesday, March 9th

*** Please notice that there is no club meeting on Wednesday, February 10th! ****

Group B - fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students

  • Wednesday, March 16th
  • Wednesday, March 23rd
  • Wednesday, April 6th
  • Wednesday, April 13th
  • Wednesday, April 20th
  • Wednesday, April 27th

Since the sessions are only 6 weeks long please plan ahead so that your student can make it to as many meetings as possible.  Only students participating in the current session are allowed to come to our club meetings so please plan accordingly if you have students in both groups.
