STUDENT SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENTS
Scheduling Window
The scheduling window is now open. Students are able to select electives while many core classes may have been entered by their classroom teachers. Counselors will be visiting classrooms to give students more information on their course selections. The window will close on April 7th!
7th Grade Group Meetings
On March 18, 19, 20th we have our third meeting with our lovely 7th graders in the VCR. Our March topic is scheduling, and we will be going over their course options, developing their 6-year course plan, and help them select their course options on Infinite Campus.
Classroom Scheduling Meetings
We are looking to meet with our current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students to go over scheduling information during the week of March 25-28th . We are hoping to finalize these dates and times in the near future.
ASVAB Test
We are offering the ASVAB to all interested students on March 27th. The test will be held in the Lecture Hall (room 140) from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. The ASVAB is the entrance exam that is required for all individuals joining the military, it is also a great aptitude and career assessment tool for any student who is interested in getting more feedback on their skills, abilities, and career interests. The test is FREE and students must sign up in our Student Services Office.
WISCAREERS – Career Planning Website
The WisCareers website allows you to assess your skills and interests to lead you to career options that match YOU. The site is also useful for searching for colleges across the country by majors, locations, costs, athletics, and many other key features that may affect your college decision. Unless you are new to our school you already have an account. See Ms. Uhen in the Library if you have forgotten your login information.

Student and Family Assistance Program
The SFAP is provided through Aurora Health Care and is FREE to all district students and families residing in the same household. The SFAP provides confidential in-person or phone consultation for a variety of issues including anxiety & depression, academic pressure, marital & relationship issues, stress management, child & family issues, alcohol & drugs, divorce, and parenting issues or questions. Individuals can receive up to eight free sessions per issue. There are also services available for child or elder care resources, financial consultation, legal consultation & mediation, and adoption information. Seniors & Juniors
Now is a good time for seniors and juniors to be scheduling college visits/tours! Visiting campuses and talking to an admission counselor at that specific school of choice will only help students in their decision in where to attend college visit www.uwhelp.wisconsin.edu for the most current information. Check out www.wisconsin.mentor.org for all the Private Schools in the state of Wisconsin. Make sure to register via their website or by phone so they can save a spot for you! Most campuses have individual visits offered most weekdays and weekends as well if the group visits do not work out.
