Chad Kafka comes to us from the Franklin Public Schools where he is a part-time 8th grade computer teacher, part-time Technology Coach for staff and full-time technology enthusiast. Chad enjoys finding ways to use all kinds of technology, applications, websites and tools with the staff and all ages of students. This past December, Chad had the opportunity to attend the Google Teacher Academy in Washington, DC and he will share a little about what he learned there and some of the tools that can be used in the classroom. Outside of school, Chad works with The Stephens Group to put on different professional development opportunities around Milwaukee including trainings, workshops, classes and the annual Milwaukee Digital Media Conference, which he chairs. Chad prides himself on being able to speak "tech" and "teacher" and enjoys finding ways to get educators excited about trying new technologies. During his keynote, Chad will be sharing his message and thoughts about 21st Century Learning and what it means to Create, Communicate and Collaborate with our students. Chad will also be sharing some tools that go along with this theme.
