Background
New Berlin Scholarship Fund provides financial support for post-secondary education through a competitive scholarship
Incorporated on May 29, 1963, the New Berlin Scholarship Fund has provided scholarships for New Berlin residents to assist them in their post-secondary education since 1964, when scholarships were granted to nine members of the first graduating class of New Berlin West High School.
The Fund was founded by New Berlin citizens who were interested in the education of the city’s young people beyond high school.
A committee administers the Fund: receiving, establishing, maintaining, investing and disbursing scholarship monies. The members of the Fund are residents of New Berlin, administrators of high schools and/or representatives of various service organizations in New Berlin.
