In the School District of New Berlin (SDNB), technology plays a key role in creating engaging and personalized learning experiences for students. Our teachers regularly use digital tools and online resources to deliver instruction that helps students build important skills like creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration—skills that are essential for success today and in the future.
1:1 Digital Learning Environment
To support this approach, SDNB provides each student with a personal learning device:
- Grades K-4: iPads
- Grades 5-12: Chromebooks
This 1:1 device program ensures all students have consistent access to the tools they need for learning both in and out of school.
Optional Device Replacement Plan
Families have the option to enroll in SDNB’s annual Device Replacement Plan, which helps cover costs for damage or loss not included in the standard device warranty.
To participate, payment can be made through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal or by check, made payable to SDNB - Technology Department. We encourage families to review the full details of the plan before enrolling.
