Open Enrollment for 2025-2026
During their January 13, 2025 meeting, the New Berlin School Board declared there are zero regular education open enrollment seats available for school year 2025-2026 in all grades K-12. (Although some spaces may be available for special education open enrollment students, there must be a regular education open enrollment seat available to a student before we can offer them a special education seat.)
Policy 5113 - Open Enrollment was not changed thereby continuing to guarantee those students currently attending in the SDNB and siblings of currently attending SDNB students. (This applies to K-12 students currently attending in the SDNB via tuition waiver or those moving on or before "3rd Friday" 2025 (September 20, 2025). Students currently open-enrolled need not reapply.
The online open-enrollment application period is Feb. 3 through April 30, 2025. For further information concerning Open Enrollment, or to access the online application during the application window, visit the Department of Public Instruction website or contact DPI at (888) 245-2732.
Parents may apply to up to three (3) non-resident districts.
Parents are responsible for transportation.
