Professional Bio

My name is Amanda Mazurkiewicz; and I'm proud to serve as the Director of Student Services for the School District of New Berlin.  I have worked for the District since the 2010-11 school year as a special educator, teacher for the deaf / hard of hearing, and administrator.  I began my career in education in 2008.  I hold a Bachelor's degree from Marquette University in Speech Pathology & Audiology, a Master's degree in Special Education from UW-Milwaukee, and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.  I hold licenses to teach special education and deaf education and to serve as a principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Director of Pupil Services and Special Education.  I value working with our staff and families to help create meaningful learning and improve outcomes for all students.
