Once you enter your email address and type in and submit the text in the box below, you will have completed Step 1.
In accordance with Board Policy 4107, volunteers who supervise or work directly with our students before, during and after school hours must submit and pass a background check every 3 years. The School District of New Berlin has contracted with Secure volunteer-powered by Background Investigation Bureau (BIB) to conduct these checks for us.
Once the school receives your completed I-form, you will receive an email containing a link to the BIB website where you will complete one more simple online form (Step 2). The link to the BIB website will come directly from the school. Please allow 24 hours for the link to be emailed.
Once that form is submitted, the process of the background check will begin. Upon receipt and review of the results of the report, you will be notified as to whether or not you have been approved to volunteer.
If approved, you will be good to volunteer for 3 years from your approval date. NOTE: If you are currently listed in our volunteer database you will receive an email from clietservices@bib.com 45 days before your volunteer status is set to expire. If you would like to remain a district-approved volunteer, rest assured that the link provided in the email is safe to submit a new application.
