The School District of New Berlin participates in the Wisconsin Open Enrollment program. This program allows parents to apply for their children to attend school districts other than that in which they reside.
Parents must submit online applications to the non-resident district during the application period beginning in February for the following school year. For school year 2016-2017, the Open Enrollment application window will open at midnight on Feb. 1, 2016, and continue through 4:00 p.m. on April 29, 2016. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason. There is no tuition cost to parents for participation. Parents of open-enrolled students may be charged the same fees as resident students.
New Berlin does NOT have a 4K program.
Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from school.
Every January, school boards must review and approve their Open Enrollment policy as well as determine seat availability for the following school year.

The New Berlin School Board has determined that there are zero (0) seats available for the 2016-17 school year, although grade-level waiting lists will be established upon the closing of the application window.
