For current freshman, sophomores, and juniors,ProCSI (pronounced “proxy”_ Promoting the Computational Science Initiative) is a free, six day residential program from July 9 – 14, 2017. Students will have fun discovering how important computer science and engineering are to modern research. For more information, click here: ProCSI
For current sophomores and juniors, the College of Engineering will host the 6-week residential Engineering Summer Program (ESP) from June 17 – July 28, 2017. The purpose of ESP is to engage students who perform strongly in math and science, and would like to explore careers in engineering. For more information please click here: ESP
Exploring Careers in Clinical Pharmacy - April 8 (Posted 3/3/2017)
The Greater Milwaukee College of Clinical Pharmacy presents Exploring Careers in Clinical Pharmacy, a free event to be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 8. The event will be held at Wheaton Franciscan Wauwatosa Campus, 201 N. Mayfair Rd., Wauwatosa, WI 53226, in the fifth floor conference center.
Parents, please accept our invitation to attend these sessions along with your student or by yourself. You will be provided with lots of wonderful information and a great opportunity to meet face to face with an admissions representative. Students can pick up a pass to attend in the Student Services Department the day before or morning of the visit. Locations may vary, please report to Student Services at the time of the visit, you will be directed to the location. Should you have any questions, please contact your counselor. ASVAB Military Test (posted 2/14/17)
Expand your horizons. New Berlin West is hosting the ASVAB, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, Career Exploration Program (CEP) on March 24, 2017.
The ASVAB CEP is a mandatory test for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the military, but is offered to any student in grades 9-12. Students participate in a Multiple-Aptitude Test, Interest Inventory, and Career Exploration Tool to better understand their skills, abilities, and interests. Anyone can benefit from the ASVAB CEP regardless of their plans after high school.
