The 2025 Budget Hearing Presentation was given by chief finance & operations officer Patrick Miller, following highlights from the year shared by superintendent Joe Garza.
2025 Annual Meeting Minutes
Call to Order: The 2025 School District of New Berlin Annual Meeting was called to order at 7:33 p.m.
Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer's Report was presented and declared approved by a visible majority of electors’ markers.
Tax Levy for the 2025-2026 School Year: By a visible majority of electors’ markers, the electorate approved a tax levy of $45,118,375, including $6,000,000 for capital expansion projects, on all property, real and personal, within the bounds of the School District of New Berlin, City of New Berlin, Wisconsin, for the purpose of operating the public schools, including the maintenance of buildings and sites and discharge of debt.
Date & Time for 2026 Annual Meeting: By a visible majority of electors’ markers, the electorate authorized the school board to establish the date for the 2026 Annual Meeting between the dates of May 15 and October 31, 2026.
Board of Education Member Salaries: By show of a visible majority of electors’ markers, the electorate approved to maintain Board Member annual salaries at $3,500; the Board President at $5,000; and the Board Vice President at $4,500.
Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
