School District of New Berlin (SDNB) teachers frequently utilize technology tools and online applications to deliver instruction and create meaningful, customized learning experiences for students. Through these digital practices, we are better able to focus on how our learners develop the skills that are important for success in today's world - skills such as creation, communication, critical thinking and collaboration.
To support a more robust learning environment, the SDNB continues to move toward a 1:1 Digital Learning Environment. Increasing access to technology supports the broader goal of preparing our students for life and learning in and outside of the district through personalized learning.
Chromebooks are assigned as 1:1 devices to students in grades 7-12 and iPads are assigned as 1:1 devices to students in grades K-6.
Optional Device Replacement Plan
The School District of New Berlin (SDNB) is providing an annual, optional device replacement plan to cover losses and failure that are excluded or that exceed the value of the existing comprehensive device warranty. Please review the entire Optional Device Replacement Plan.
If you choose to enroll in the optional device replacement plan, you may submit payment via the Campus Portal or via check to SDNB - Technology Department.
