The ELL teacher works directly with students to provide instruction in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The ELL teacher conducts required state testing to determine language proficiency. The ELL teacher serves as a resource for classroom teachers and also collaborates with classroom teachers to implement appropriate accommodations for ELLs to be successful in the classroom.
