Academic & Career Planning

In order to be college & career ready, students in grades 7-12 will be creating an Academic & Career Plan. Students will have opportunities to take coursework and gain experiences that align with their post-secondary plans. These experiences will build credentials that have value for college admissions and future employment.

For students in grades K-6, we focus on developing a love of learning that will contribute to every student's future success. Many opportunities exist to enrich the curriculum at all grades.

Why is it important to focus on College & Career Readiness?

The more students can connect what they are learning now to their future, the more prepared they will be for success. Through their planning and learning experiences in middle and high school, students will also learn that it is important to be ready for change, as it is likely they will have multiple careers in their lifetime.

Who is Involved in ensuring our students are College & Career Ready?
